ST. LOUIS – The Blues continued their busy offseason Monday afternoon when general manager Doug Armstrong announced the acquisition of forward Pat Cannone from the Ottawa Senators in exchange for future considerations.
In 74 games last season for the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League, Cannone netted 10 goals, distributed 15 assists and logged 41 penalty minutes. In his three seasons in the AHL, the 26-year old tallied 70 points and 75 penalty minutes.
Cannone played four years at Miami University (Ohio) and is originally from Bayport, N.Y.
