MURFREESBORO - The Middle Tennessee Athletic Department will be hosting "Blue Raiders on the Move" events during the month of July to thank fans for their support of the University's move to Conference USA.
The first event is scheduled for Wednesday, July 10 at The Boulevard Restaurant in Mufreesboro with a second slated for Tuesday, July 16 at Drake's Sports Bar in Franklin. Both events begin at 5:30 PM and run until 7 PM.
Director of Athletics Chris Massaro, Head Coach Rick Stockstill, and other staff members and coaches will be on hand. Massaro will speak at 5:45 and talk about the move to C-USA.
The department will be giving away prizes with the giant prize wheel, along with handing out posters, koozies, sunglasses, pocket schedules, and yard signs. There will also be an autograph session with Stockstill.
Additionally, there will be an event on July 18 at State Farm and one on July 27th at Academy Sports in Smyrna. Along with prizes and giveaways, football players will be on hand and inflatables will be set up for kids.
