#BlameJameis meme mocks wave of negative Jameis Winston news (VIDEO)

Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston's name has been splashed all over websites and newspapers this season, but his on-field actions have had little to do with the substance of the stories.

It's been one thing after another for last season's Heisman Trophy winner: from the impending FSU code of conduct hearing Winston will face regarding sexual assaut allegations made against him in December 2012; to an examination (yes, by FOX Sports) of the university's and Tallahasee police's own malfeasance with respect to that criminal investigation; to Winston's theft of crab legs; to his yelling obscenities on campus; to a new investigation into whether Winston accepted money for autographs.

So it's completely understandable if you've had trouble keeping up with it all. Thanks to a new strategy that appears to have originated with frustrated Florida State Seminoles fans, if something (1) goes wrong or (2) if something that went wrong requires explanation, just "Blame Jameis."
