ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) Blake's Magic won the $30,000 feature by a head at Santa Anita on Friday.
Ridden by Aaron Gryder, Blake's Magic ran a mile on the turf in 1:35.20 and paid $7.20, $3.60 and $2.60.
Hanserella returned $3.80 and $2.60, while Backintheacademy was another length back in third and paid $3.80 to show.
The victory, worth $18,000, increased Blake's Magic's career earnings to $71,290, with two wins in eight starts.
