You didn't have to go to the movie theater to see the latest Bill Murray production.

Murray, a part owner and team psychologist of the minor-league St. Paul Saints, was in town Friday night for their season opener at CHS Field. The actor and comedian took batting practice and enjoyed the team's pre-game entertainment.

His psychology methods appeared to work. The Saints won their opener 8-3 over the Gary SouthShore Railcats in front of more than 8,200 fans behind a strong start from Minnesota native Mark Hamburger. The team even successfully executed back-to-back suicide squeezes in the fifth inning.

To paraphrase a famous Murray movie character: So they got that going for them. Which is nice.
