Bettor hits positively absurd $1 UFC parlay for nearly $50K score

I've seen a lot of ridiculous parlay cards and constructed more than a handful myself, but none of them quite as ludicrious as this nine-leg, all-underdog winner from #UFCFightNight 61 in Brazil.

On a night when a record 10 underdogs prevailed, this winner (let's call him "Lucky Larry") picked all six underdogs on the main card plus three prelim puppies for the highly improbable reward. Among other unexpected results, Larry needed a knockout by Frank Mir, loser of his previous four matches, over Bigfoot Silva; a huge upset by Frankie Saenz (+450) over heavily favored No. 8-ranked bantamweight Iuri Alcantara in his home country; and a unanimous decision by Michael Johnson over Edson Barboza after Johnson's year-long absence.

If I had to venture a wager, I'd guess Larry put this in as a last-minute goof, or that he was drunk, or that the $1 represented the last dollar in his account. In any case, that dollar is now $48,291. Wow.
