The Bengals released offensive lineman Mike Pollak on Friday.

Pollak, 30, played in 22 games with 11 starts for the Bengals the last two seasons after signing as an unrestricted free agent in 2013. He was a second-round pick in 2008 by Indianapolis and played his first four seasons in the league with the Colts. He played one season with Carolina.

The Bengals signed Pollak to a three-year deal worth $4.8 million last offseason. They will save $1.1 million of salary cap space this season and $1.4 million of cap space next season with this move.
