Bengals open preseason at Atlanta

The Bengals announced their 2013 preseason schedule on Thursday, including a nationally-televised game at Atlanta in their opener.
The Bengals and Falcons will meet in the Georgia Dome on Aug. 8 at 8 p.m. in a game to be televised by ESPN. The Bengals are coming off a second straight playoff appearance, while the Falcons lost to San Francisco in the NFC championship game in January.
The Bengals will also travel to Dallas for their third preseason game, to be played between Aug. 22-26. They will host Tennessee in the second week of
the preseason, between the dates of Aug. 15-19, and close out the preseason against Indianapolis on either Aug. 29 or 30.
Finalized dates and times are still to be announced.
The Bengals will also host Indianapolis during the regular season. The NFL will announce the 2013 schedule later this month.
The announcing of the first game on Aug. 8 means the Bengals will be allowed to open training camp on July 24; teams are allowed to begin training camps 15 days prior to their first preseason game. The Bengals will be training at Paul Brown Stadium for the second straight year after 15 years of holding training camp at Georgetown College in Kentucky.
