CINCINNATI (AP) -- The Bengals have found plenty of help for A.J. Green.
The Pro Bowl receiver has been the focus of opposing defenses in the first two games, giving the other receivers a chance to emerge. So far, they've done very well.
Andy Dalton threw three touchdown passes Sunday during a 34-27 win over Cleveland, but the biggest plays didn't involve Green. Andrew Hawkins turned a short pass into a 50-yard score, and Brandon Tate ran past a safety for a 44-yard touchdown catch.
Cincinnati (1-1) knew it had to develop receivers to complement Green if they were to have any chance of making another run at the playoffs. So far, Hawkins, Tate and Armon Binns are excelling.
The biggest concern now is a defense that ranks 30th in the league.
