Los Angeles Galaxy soccer star David Beckham confirmed at a fan luncheon in Los Angeles on Friday that he and wife Victoria are expecting a baby girl.
"Obviously, we're very lucky to be expecting again, and this is the first time I'm going to say it: It's a little girl," Beckham said, according to ESPN.
"We're still in shock. Obviously, having three boys, you kind of expect another one, so finding out a little girl is in there is surprising, but, obviously, we are over the moon," the 35-year-old England international added.
"Our three boys are happy and excited, and Victoria is doing well."
British newspaper The Sun revealed in February the high profile couple were expecting a girl, but Victoria, who shot to fame as Spice Girl singer Posh, had insisted she did not know the sex of the baby and would be happy with either gender.
Victoria, a 36-year-old fashion designer, and David already have three boys — Cruz, 6, Romeo, 8, and Brooklyn, 12.
