FOX Sports Detroit is holding a contest to cast a new FOX Sports Detroit Girl after Lauren’s announcement to move on from the network at the end of July. The contest launches July 1 on FOXSportsDetroit.com.
Through July 19, interested fans can go to FOXSportsDetroit.com where they can upload a video up to two minutes describing/demonstrating their affinity for Detroit sports and why they should be the next FOX Sports Detroit Girl. Ten finalists will be selected by the network, with online voting from August 1-8 to help determine the winner. The new FOX Sports Detroit Girl will be announced August 14.
The new FOX Sports Detroit Girl will join Brittney and Stephanie in on-air promos and web/print advertisements. The winner will also make personal appearances at community event and game venues as well as interact on all FSD Girl social media platforms.
