'Battery mate' discussion with James Shields and Derek Norris on #SDLive

SAN DIEGO -- FOX Sports San Diego (FSSD) will debut a new episode of #SDLive tonight following live coverage of San Diego Padres at Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, featuring Padres pitcher James Shields and catcher, Derek Norris.

#SDLive host Mike Pomeranz chats with Shields and Norris about clubhouse atmosphere, the battery mate dynamic and taking on a leadership role in San Diego. Shields gives his take on pitching life and what the environment is like in the dugout when he is not on the mound. Norris talks about the wear and tear of being behind the plate and characters in the clubhouse.

In addition, both Shields and Norris give their thoughts on the DH and chat about hot topic items like the electronic strike zone.

This episode of #SDLive will debut tonight at 10:30 PM PST or immediately following live coverage of San Diego Padres at Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim beginning at 6:30 PM PST on FOX Sports San Diego.
