Badgers men's hockey rallies to tie Michigan

The Wisconsin Badgers men's hockey team fell behind sixth-ranked Michigan four times Saturday in Madison, Wis.

Each time, it found a way to tie the game.

The Badgers (6-13-7, 1-8-3-1 Big Ten) tied the game with 97 seconds to play in regulation and forced a shooting, earning a point in the Big Ten standings with a 4-4 tie.

Michigan (18-4-5, 9-2-3-2 Big Ten) won the shootout 1-0.

Wisconsin's top line of Luke Kunin (2 goals), Cameron Hughes (2 assists) and Grant Besse (1 goal, 2 assists) posted seven points (3 goals, 4 assists), and sophomore Ryan Wagner scored his 10th goal of the season. Freshman Matt Jurusik made 29 saves for the tie.

The Badgers host Michigan State for a Friday-Saturday series next weekend at the Kohl Center.
