Badgers hockey doubled up by Minnesota St.

MADISON, Wis. – For the second straight night, Wisconsin's hockey squad fell to Minnesota State by a 4-2 margin Saturday, at the Kohl center.

Wisconsin (1-7-2 overall, 1-5-2 WCHA) saw star junior Michael Mersch tally his eighth goal of the season. The Badgers also got a goal and an assist from defenseman Jake McCabe.

Finally, senior forward Derek Lee collected a pair of assists for the host Badgers.

The visitors from Mankato, Minn., improved to 5-5-2 overall and 3-5-0 in the WCHA with their win.
