Bader returns from the IL; Ponce de Leon optioned back to Memphis

Cardinals center fielder Harrison Bader is back in action after a brief stint on the 10-day injured list while dealing with a hamstring issue.

The Cardinals activated Bader on Wednesday, sending starting pitcher Daniel Ponce de Leon back to Memphis after his strong spot-start the night before.

Bader is batting .179 on the season with two homers.
