SAN DIEGO (AP) -- JJ O'Brien scored 16 points on 7-of-9 shooting to lead San Diego State to a 93-41 rout over NAIA San Diego Christian Wednesday night.
Five players scored in double-figures for San Diego State (2-1) and nine of the ten players that saw the floor scored at least two points.
Josh Davis had 15 points, 13 rebounds and Dwayne Polee II added 14 for the Aztecs.
San Diego State scored the first 21 points of the game in route to a 49-23 lead at halftime. San Diego Christian was held to 22 percent from the field for the game. The Aztecs outrebounded the Hawks 51-34, and shot 56 percent from the field including 8-of-17 from 3.
Kwaminique Brandon led San Diego Christian with 14 points.
The Aztecs have now won 35-straight games versus teams from California. San Diego State will play in the Wooden Legacy Tournament on Thanksgiving night.
