Seimone Augustus hit the go-ahead shot with 4.3 seconds remaining, and the Minnesota Lynx finally put away a scrappy Dallas Wings team in an 89-87 win.

Minnesota controlled most of the first half, but the Wings outscored the Lynx 31-18 in the third quarter to take the lead heading into the fourth.

That's when Sylvia Fowles took over. Fowles finished with 27 points and 13 rebounds for her second double-double of the season.

Maya Moore made her presence known with two early 3-pointers. She scored a season-high 21 points off 5-of-12 shooting.

Lindsay Whalen didn't score a basket until the fourth quarter and ended up with four points and six assists.

The Wings' two first-round picks, Allisha Gray and Kaela Davis (both out of South Carolina) combined for 22 points.

Minnesota will play the Connecticut Sun at home on Tuesday. Tip off is at 7 p.m.
