When the Sun Devils play Oregon on Oct. 29 they will rock the "Dark Ops Collection" cleats debuted by Adidas a week before the game. The shoes will honor the late Pat Tillman, who was an Arizona State footballer before earning a spot in the NFL -- then eventually leaving football to enlist in the military. Tillman was killed by friendly fire in 2004.
Both shoes will have the "PT-42" logo on the cleats; the socks are camouflage. The gold Adidas logo represents "the gold outline of the U.S. Army Rangers" path as well as the U.S. flag patch.
