TEMPE, Ariz. – The Arizona State softball team (37-5, 8-3 Pac-12) bounced back after two straight losses to rout Washington 7-1 on Saturday in front of a sold-out crowd of 2,088 at Farrington Stadium.

Dallas Escobedo (20-4) picked up her 20th win of the season, giving her 20-plus wins in all three seasons in her career at ASU. She is now tied for third on the school's all-time wins list with 81.

For the Huskies (32-11, 10-4), starter Bryana Walker (13-6) took the loss.

ASU did most of its damage via the base on balls and the long ball, drawing nine walks and homering three times. The Sun Devils now have 70 homers on the year and have homered in 35 of 42 games, with 22 of those being multiple-homer
games and eight of those featuring three or more long balls.

Amber Freeman and Haley Steele each had a homer and two RBI in the contest, with Lucy Aubrecht adding a solo home run.

The two teams meet again in the series finale at noon Sunday.
