FORT WORTH, Texas -- Brian Serven hit a two-run home run and drove in three runs, and senior Jordan Aboites threw his first career complete game as Arizona State beat Oral Roberts 4-1 in an elimination game Saturday at the Fort Worth Regional.

Aboites (7-2) struck out seven and walked one while scattering 11 hits, 10 of them singles. The 5-foot-6 right-hander got out of a bases-loaded jam in the eighth with a strikeout and an inning-ending grounder.

The Sun Devils (35-22) never trailed after Gage Canning led off the game with a walk, stole second base, went to third on a wild pitch and scored on Serven's sacrifice fly. Arizona State led 4-0 in the fifth after Serven hit his fourth homer of the season.

Oral Roberts starter Nick Wood (6-3) allowed four runs over five innings, with two strikeouts and two walks.
