Arizona State on Friday added former Notre Dame recruit Bo Wallace to its 2015 recruiting class after the defensive end visited campus this week. Head coach Todd Graham announced the signing via Twitter.

Wallace (6-feet-4, 215 pounds) is a 4-star outside linebacker and defensive end, according to Scout.com. His addition gives Graham another potential immediate-impact player on an already deep front seven that this offseason, most notably, added freshmen tackles JoJo Wicker and George Lea. Graham has considered Wicker to be the best player in his signing class, and Lea could earn playing time after having a strong showing as an early enrollee this spring.

The Sun Devils may look to Wallace to challenge at the Devil-backer position, which appears to be an open competition heading into fall camp.

Five-star junior college transfer Davon Durant appeared in line to take the job this spring but is suspended indefinitely after he was involved in a domestic assault investigation. The case still is pending.

Wallace, from John Curtis Christian High School in River Ridge, La., is the 25th member of ASU's 2015 recruiting class. He adds more Louisiana flavor to Graham's squad. In the Sun Devils' 2015 class, Lea and defensive end Jalen Bates hail from Louisiana, as does 4-star receiver Terrell Chatman.

ASU's class ranked 17th by Scout before the addition of Wallace, who recently decommitted from Notre Dame and chose ASU as a destination over UCLA and Texas A&M, according to reports.
