Arizona basketball on Thursday revealed its 2013-14 nonconference schedule, which includes the first game of a home-and-home series with national championship runner-up Michigan.

The Dec. 14 game in Ann Arbor, Mich., highlights UA's schedule right now, but the NIT Season Tip-Off could provide some additional marquee matchups. Arizona will host the first two rounds of the tournament from Nov. 18-20 before its conclusion at Madison Square Garden in New York. The full tournament field has not been announced, but reports indicate that it will include Duke, Rutgers and Alabama as the other host schools. Michigan won the tournament last year in a field that included Kansas State, Pittsburgh and Virginia.

Before the tournament, UA hosts Cal Poly and Long Beach State and travels to play San Diego State. The Wildcats hit the toughest part of their schedule at the beginning of December, with home games against Texas Tech, UNLV and New Mexico State preceding the visit to Michigan.

"We are excited about our 2013-14 non-conference schedule," Arizona coach Sean Miller said in a statement. "It provides our team with numerous opportunities at McKale Center, away from home, and in the NIT Season Tip-Off that will prepare us for conference play. Additionally, this type of schedule is built to provide us the quality needed in the month of March for our postseason aspirations to be realized."
