Arizona United fall behind early, lose to Austin Aztex

AUSTIN, Texas -- Arizona United SC allowed the Austin Aztex to score early and often en route to a 4-1 loss on the road.
Arizona United had won the previous two meeting between the teams this season.
Midfielder Danny Garcia scored his first goal for Arizona (7-10-1) in the 66th minute of the match. With the ball at his feet, just outside of the penalty area, Garcia ripped a shot to the far left post, past the diving keeper. That goal cut Austin's lead to 3-1, but it wasn't enough to begin an Arizona comeback.
The Aztex scored the match's first goal in the 18th minute. Austin midfielder Brenden King lined up for a free kick and then unleashed a shot that beat United goalkeeper Carl Woszczynski to the near-left upper 90.
Austin (6-9-3) added to its lead with a brace from forward Trevin Caesar. In the 22nd minute, his shot toward the far left corner of the frame found the back of the net. Then Caesar made it 3-0 with a goal in the 41st minute.
The Aztex added a fourth goal in the second half. In the 82nd minute, Andres Cuero ripped a shot from the top of the box and Woszczynski made the save. But Austin forward Austin Touray collected the rebound and slipped it past Woszczynski for a goal.
The two clubs meet for a fourth, and final, time this season on July 25 at Scottsdale Stadium.
