Arizona golfer Ramos finishes 45th at NCAAs

University of Arizona senior golfer Margarita Ramos concluded her collegiate career Friday in the final round of play at the NCAA championships on Friday in Franklin, Tenn., posting a 73 to finish at 10-over 298 for the tournament, good for a six-way tie for 45th place.

Ranked 85th nationally by Golfstat.com, Ramos carded rounds of 76, 72 and 77 over the first three days on the par-72, 6,451-yard course.
 
No. 2 Alabama won the team title with a score of 19-over 1,171. No. 3 USC was just a stroke back in second place with a 1,172, and No. 7 LSU rounded out the top three with a 1,173. No. 59 Chirapat Jao-Javanil of Oklahoma won the individual title with rounds of 69, 73, 70 and 70 for a score of 6-under 282.
