Andy Reid can't stop talking about Snickers and cheeseburgers at Chiefs' OTA
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Apparently, Andy Reid was hungry to get the Kansas City Chiefs' final organized team activity of the week out of the way. Or maybe the dude was just plain hungry. Whatever.
Regardless, the cherubic Chiefs coach sure seemed to have food on his brain early Thursday afternoon as he addressed reporters following Kansas City's OTA session at the team's practice complex.
When Reid was asked about -- ahem -- nuggets from other coaches, past and present, that he likes to mix in to his playbook every now and again, Big Red offered up this:

Ya don't say?
A few minutes later, the questions switched from Reid's dessert -- or is it appetizer? -- of choice to a comment Kansas City quarterback Alex Smith made on NFL Network recently that the Chiefs coach is "always treating us (players) to cheeseburgers. That's the one thing that's always coming out."
Which, in turn, led to this little exchange:
CHIEFS CHEERLEADERS: Flip through our photo album of Chiefs cheerleaders.
REPORTER: How often do you get cheeseburgers for the players?
REID: "We had cheeseburgers Saturday night. I mean, I use that term all over. It's hard to beat a good cheeseburger. I mean, it's hard."
REPORTER: How else would you use that term?
REID: "I don't know. 'This press conference is getting old. I need to go grab a cheeseburger.'"
With that, a Chiefs communications staffer cut off the questions and broke up the news conference. From there, we're going to presume Reid headed straight to lunch. At least, we hope.
