3rd test: West India collapses to 225 all out against India

GROS ISLET, St. Lucia (AP) West Indies collapsed to 225 all out in its first innings and India reached 31-0 at tea on the fourth day of the third test to lead by 159 runs.

West Indies lost its last seven wickets for 23 runs, giving India a chance to seal the four-match series with a win.

Resuming after lunch on 194-3, West Indies' middle and lower order folded against seamer Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, who picked up 5 wickets in the afternoon session and finished with 5-33.

Kumar took the vital wickets of Marlon Samuels (48) and Jermaine Blackwood (20) early in the session, which set up the sudden collapse.

India batted for five overs before tea and must score quickly in its second innings with one full day left. Heavy rain washed out Thursday's play.
