The debate is never going to end.

Michael Jordan vs. LeBron James. Who's the greatest of all time? Who would win a game of one-on-one?

At 52, Michael Jordan has been out of the NBA for over 10 years, but a recent poll shows some staggering figures.

A remarkable 34 percent of the people polled by Public Policy Polling believe Jordan could beat James in one-on-one right now.

34 percent!

Only 54 percent of those surveyed believe James would be able to win the contest.

We are talking about the best basketball player on the planet, currently still in his prime, playing against a 52-year-old, albeit the greatest basketball player of all time, and people still believe Jordan could win.

A three-point contest? Maybe. One-on-one? Come on.

Even though MJ was dunking two years ago at the age of 50, thinking he could beat James who averaged 25.3 points, 7.4 assists and six rebounds per game this year is ridiculous.

But, don't think for one second that 'His Airness' wouldn't put up a good fight.

The poll also asked what player NBA fans think is the best of all time. In that category, there was no discrepancy. Jordan took home 77 percent of the vote compared to James' 14 percent.

At least the fans got that one right.
