25 American sports venues that can't possibly disappoint in person

This is quite a week for great sports venues.
On April 6, 1992, Camden Yards opened in Baltimore and ushered in the modern era of ballparks.
The Masters returns to Augusta National, possibly the most famous AND gorgeous golf course in the world.
And with the Major Leauge Baseball season opening up around the country, we get to pile into our favorite ballparks across America again.
To celebrate one of the best weeks on the sports calendar, here are 25 spectacular American sports venues that you have to see in person at some point. Enjoy your daydream.
1. Augusta National -- Augusta, Georgia. Amen Corner might be the most gorgeous corner on earth.

2. Camden Yards -- Baltimore. An original of the modern ballpark era and spectacular.

3. Lambeau Field -- Green Bay, Wisconsin. Home of perhaps the most iconic football franchise (chill out, Cowboys fans).

4. PNC Park -- Pittsburgh. Stunning downtown sightlines to match a fabulous baseball city.

5. Madison Square Garden -- New York City. The mecca of hoops. What else do you need?

6. Rose Bowl -- Pasadena, California. Come for the sunset on the San Gabriel Mountains, stay for the football.

7. Dodger Stadium -- Los Angeles. A ballpark in a city that takes you back in time.

8. Cameron Indoor -- Durham, North Carolina. Home of Duke basketball and one of the most intimate sports experiences.

9. Petco Park -- San Diego. Make it a day game. Trust us.

10. Wrigley Field -- Chicago. It's undergoing renovations, but the ivy and the scoreboard will remain and that's what matters.

11. Tiger Stadium -- Baton Rouge, Louisiana. They all say there's nothing like night time in Death Valley. See for yourself.

12. Autzen Stadium -- Eugene, Oregon. It's a bottle of energy and noise dropped on one of the West Coast's most scenic campuses.

13. Nationals Park -- Washington, D.C. We'd usually never tell you to sit in the upper deck on purpose. But in D.C., you can see the Washington Monument from the high seats.

14. Pebble Beach -- Pebble Beach, California. If you died here, you can at least say you died in heaven.

15. AT&T Park -- San Francisco. The blueprint for making a sports venue fit organically into the fabric of a major metro city. Superb.

16. Fenway Park -- Boston. Yes, it's old. Yes, it's cramped. Yes, it lacks amenities. But it's an American original.

17. Phog Allen Field House -- Lawrence, Kansas. If you love college hoops, this is one of your favorite places in the country.

18. Cowboys Stadium -- Dallas. The most obnoxious of all sporting venues is a must-see for that reason alone.

19. Notre Dame Stadium -- South Bend, Indiana. Hate or love the Irish, a football game in South Bend is a bucket-list kind of event. Catch it in late October when the colors on campus explode.

20. TPC Sawgrass -- Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. The island green on No. 17 is only a wedge for pros, so how can it be so damn difficult? Well, come take a look.

21. Daytona International Speedway -- Daytona Beach, Florida. If you have only one NASCAR event in you, make it this one with lots of cold beers in the Florida sun.

22. Busch Stadium -- St. Louis. The arch punctuates the St. Louis skyline and lets you know immediately you're here to see the beloved Cardinals.

23. Soldier Field -- Chicago. Because it feels like football.

24. CenturyLink Field -- Seattle. Just to hear it.

25. Pipeline -- Oahu, Hawaii. Surprised? It's one of the most gorgeous surf spots in the world and you can combine it with a Hawaiian vacation. Sold!
