2013 Fantasy Minute: NFC South Breakout Player

2013 Fantasy Minute: NFC South Breakout Player

My 2013 fantasy football breakout star coming out of the NFC South is Saints' wide receiver, Kenny Stills. Other nominees considered were Panthers' running back Kenjon Barner and Saints' running back Mark Ingram.

No question Drew Brees likes to spread the wealth on offense.  Marques Colston (who isn't feeling 100 percent these days) and Jimmy Graham are options 1 and 1a.  However, I think like Lance Moore a few seasons ago, Stills can squeeze his way into some targets on Sundays.  In two preseason games, Stills has caught five passes for 86 yards with a touchdown as the Saints' new deep threat (Joe Morgan - ACL tear).  Nick Toon is trying to put pressure on him, but will probably lose out and fall to the fourth WR.

If Stills gains target traction with Brees the first few games of the season, I think it would negatively impact the value of Lance Moore the rest of the season.
