2 more world records set at short-course worlds

DOHA, Qatar (AP) Katinka Hosszu set a world record to win the women's 200-meter backstroke final Friday at the short-course swimming world championships.
The Hungarian finished in 1 minute, 59.23 seconds to win gold, eclipsing Missy Franklin's mark of 2:00.03 set in Berlin in 2011.
Emliy Seebohm of Australia came second in 2:00.13 and Sayaka Akase of Japan third in 2:02.30 at the Hamad Aquatic Centre.
It was the second world record of the day after Denmark improved its own mark to win the women's 4x50 medley relay. Danish quartet of Mie Nielsen, Rikke Moller Pedersen, Jeantte Ottesen and Pernille Blume finished in 1:44.04, bettering their mark of 1:45.92 set in 2013.

The U.S. took silver in 1:44.92 and France bronze in 1:45.89.
