Published Dec. 19, 2012 4:20 p.m. ET

Nick Foles, the former Arizona Wildcat and current Philadelphia Eagles quarterback, joins Matt this week to discuss his transition into the NFL. He talks about his new team, his relationship with Michael Vick and the criticism surrounding Andy Reid. Plus, he talks about Arizona football, Rich Rodriguez and the remarkable comeback the Wildcats had this last weekend.

Among his observations:

On the criticism head coach Andy Reid has received: "Everybody respects him, everybody is going to continue to play for him and work for him. He's done a great job here since he's been here, and they have done some great things."

On Arizona's comeback win in the New Mexico Bowl this past weekend: "Coach Rodriguez has done a great job this year with the program... It was exciting to see Matt (Scott) do what he did at the end and really get them back into it, and he ended his career on a huge high note."

A thought on which opposing Pac-12 coach he had respect for when he played in the league: "I really liked Chip Kelly. I thought he was a good coach, good person. You have to admire what he has done with Oregon."
