100-year-old throws out first pitch for Indians

Broadview Heights resident Chuck Yasenka celebrated his 100th birthday with a special trip to the ballpark.
After his three great granddaughters sent a birthday card to the Indians with a hand-written note, some members of the organization -- including Corey Kluber, Michael Bourn and Sandy Alomar -- signed the card for him; that card will be presented to him before the game on Friday.
He was also invited to throw out the first pitch for the game.
Yasenka is a two-time colon cancer survivor who played golf into his 90s; he last attended an Indians game in person 10 years ago. Nearly 100 friends and family members were in attendance to celebrate the occasion with him.
