Britain's prime minister and senior officials will hold a special Cabinet meeting Monday at the Olympic Park to mark 200 days until the London Games.
David Cameron and other officials will discuss how to make the most of the Games and the Olympic legacy for the nation.
Most of the eight permanent Olympic venues have secured their future ownership, officials said, meaning that the facilities are expected to continue creating hundreds of jobs and tourism opportunities for locals well after the Games are over.
The operator of the Aquatics Center, for example, said the venue will become affordable to all and expects 800,000 community users a year.
One of the main goals for London officials in charge of the Olympics is that the event would regenerate run-down East London into a vibrant community.
The Games are scheduled to open on July 27 and end with a closing ceremony on Aug. 12.
