Uhlaender said the "world is pretty disappointed" with those restrictions, adding they're not consistent with Olympic ideals.
Other athletes, including ones from luge, skiing and speed skating, have also appealed in recent months for more time at the venues. The U.S. bobsled and skeleton teams are at the Olympic track for two weeks of training.
Uhlaender said Canadian athletes are not part of the problem. It's the actions of organizers, she said, that are "rude, to say the least."
Canadian Olympic officials have said for months that their plan is to win more gold medals than any other nation.
