Sweden warmed up for the Winter Olympics in Sochi in February by beating Scotland 10-5 to win the women's title at the European Curling Championship on Saturday.
Margaretha Sigfridsson's rink avenged its defeat by the Scots in the round-robin games by scoring three at the last end to win the final by a convincing margin.
Scotland, skipped by Eve Muirhead, was the favorite after beating Sweden in the world final in March and reaching the European final by winning 10 straight games.
Switzerland won the bronze medal after beating Denmark 6-4.
