Double Olympic shooting champion Maria Grozdeva has threatened to skip the London Games unless the president of the Bulgarian shooting federation resigns.
After the federation expelled her club Levski Sopharma for not competing in domestic competitions, Grozdeva said she had to miss national tournaments because she was overseas. She told private bTV on Tuesday she will not compete in the London Olympics if federation chief Kamen Shishmanov did not resign.
Grozdeva won the 25-meter pistol gold medals at the Sydney and Athens Olympics, and three more Olympic bronze medals.
