More than one Olympic Trials could be held at the University of Oregon in June.
Prefontaine Classic meet director Tom Jordan says it looks "promising" that Athletics Kenya will stage its men's and women's 10,000-meter Olympic trials at Hayward Field, according to the The Register-Guard in Eugene, Ore.
"Nothing has been confirmed yet," Jordan told the newspaper. "But the (Kenyan) men's and women's 10K are promising."
An expanded evening program of Pre Classic events would feature the two races on June 1 with the main portion of the Diamond League event taking place on the following day.
There is also a chance that Kenya could conduct its 5,000-meter trials at the meet.
The 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials will be held at Hayward Field from June 22 to July 1.
