Lucien Koch, Cheryl Maas win final snowboard races of season

SPINDLERUV MLYN, Czech Republic (AP) Lucien Koch of Switzerland and Cheryl Maas of the Netherlands won the final World Cup snowboard slopestyle events of the season on Saturday.
Koch was best in the qualifying and his first run in the final proved unbeatable with a winning score of 94.25.
Finland's Janne Korpi was second with 93.00 to clinch the overall World Cup title with a total of 2,940 points. His fellow Finn Petja Piiroinen was third with 89.25 to finish second overall with 1,820.
Maas had already clinched the women's overall title before the race and finished the season unbeaten with a winning mark of 88.50.

Klaudia Medlova of Slovakia finished second with 84.25 and Finland's Ella Suitiala was third on 76.25.
