Leaders Holmlund, Chapuis win skicross World Cup races

TEGERNSEE, Germany (AP) Anna Holmlund of Sweden won a freestyle World Cup ski cross race to extend her lead in the standings after closest challenger Fanny Smith was disqualified on Sunday.

The Swede defeated Austria's Andrea Limbacher and Ophelie David of France for her second win of the season, taking her to 615 points. Norway's Marte Hoeie Gjefsen was fourth.

Switzerland's Smith, who won Saturday's race, was disqualified for contact with David and remains on 507 points.

Olympic champion Jean Frederic Chapuis claimed his third successive win to extend his lead in the men's standings.

The Frenchman defeated Filip Flisar of Slovenia and Viktor Andersson of Sweden for 587 points. Sweden's Victor Oehling Norberg, who was 14th, is on 495.

The season's last two ski cross races are scheduled for March 13-14 at Megeve, France.
