Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski's new gig: Oscar fashion commentators

One of the best things to come out of the Sochi Olympic figure skating competition was the NBC commentary from Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski.

The pair may have been novices at the live commentary business, but they impressed viewers and fashionistas alike.

They even coordinated their wardrobe choices.

So the Oscars seem like the most logical step for Weir and Lipinski.

NBC has announced they signed the duo to do fashion commentary of the Academy Awards red carpet for Access Hollywood.

"We already have people pulling clothes," Weir told USA TODAY Sports on Saturday. "We're going to be ready. And we're going to bring it."

We can't wait to see what outfits they wear this time.

The Academy Awards take place on March 2.
