Jansrud leads Reichelt in 1st DH training in Kitzbuehel

KITZBUEHEL, Austria (AP) Kjetil Jansrud of Norway dictated the pace in the first training for a men's World Cup downhill on Tuesday.
Jansrud, who has won two downhills this season and tops the discipline standings, led last year's winner, Hannes Reichelt of Austria, by 0.51 seconds on the 3.3-kilometer Streif course.
Travis Ganong of the United States came 1.68 behind the Norwegian in third, while fourth-place Werner Heel of Italy was the only other racer to finish within two seconds of the lead.
The training was interrupted several times by crashes, though none of the racers involved, including Manuel Osborne-Paradis of Canada, were injured.
Organizers canceled Wednesday's training, leaving one more practice session on Thursday before the race two days later.
