A giant set of Olympic rings has been unveiled at one of London's busiest train stations with less than 17 months before the start of the 2012 Games.
The five multicolored aluminum rings were suspended Thursday from the ceiling at St. Pancras International station in central London. The Olympic logo was 66 feet wide 30 feet tall and weighed 5,070 pounds.
Organizers will place more rings at other London landmarks during the next year.
St. Pancras was selected as the first site because many visitors to the games will pass through the station on their way to the Olympic Park in east London.
