Finland's Korpi, China's Shuang win World Cup snowboarding

Janne Korpi gave Finland a home victory in the men's halfpipe Friday at a snowboard World Cup meet in Kuusamo, while China's Li Shuang beat New Zealander Rebecca Sinclair to win the women's event.

Korpi scored 89.00 points to beat second-place Johann Baisamy of France with 85.75 points. Finland's Markus Malin came third with a score of 85.00 points.

In the women's event, Li had 85.75 points while Sinclair scored 83.75. Clemence Grimal of France was far behind in third with 67.50.
