Chinese diver He Zi finished second in the women's 3m springboard final Sunday in Rio de Janeiro behind her teammate Shi Tingmao, collecting her third career Olympic medal after winning gold and silver in London four years ago.

After receiving her silver medal and hearing her country's national anthem, He's boyfriend - fellow Chinese diver and five-time medalist Qin Kai - had a huge surprise in store. Qin brought a rose to the edge of the pool, then pulled out a ring and popped the question.
