Bode Miller strikes up new rivalry with Ted Ligety

Alpine skiing superstars Bode Miller and Ted Ligety are used to going head to head.
In December, the Team USA members even finished first and second in a giant slalom World Cup event.
But now Miller's got his sights on his Olympic teammate in a whole new discipline: Twitter followers.
A bunch of snow came down overnight at St. Moritz, Switzerland, putting the kibosh on any sort of Olympic downhill training.
But Miller, a five-time Olympian is not about to let some inclement weather dampen his competitive spirit.
Especially not right before the Sochi Winter Games.
The 36-year-old still has his head in the game.
So he's taken on this new challenge:
Training run cancelled in St. Moritz. Today's new task: pass @tedligety in Twitter followers. RT and make it happen please!!

As of press time, Miller's clocked in 35,331 followers to Ted Ligety's 41,651.
Will he overtake his fellow Team USA member to come up with the Twitter gold?
