OSLO, Norway (AP) Norwegian biathlon great Ole Einar Bjoerndalen says he will continue competing for another two years, and says he will soon be a father.
The 42-year-old Bjoerndalen, Norway's most successful Winter Olympian with eight gold medals, says he and Belarussian biathlete Darya Domracheva will have a child in October.
Domracheva, who is 29 and a three-time Olympic champion, wrote on her website that she plans to resume competing by January 2017.
Bjoerndalen says his relationship with Domracheva ''had developed a bit recently. We have now come so far that we are a couple.''
