Atlanta and Indianapolis have been chosen as finalists to host the 2016 U.S. Olympic diving trials.

USA Diving announced Monday that Greensboro, N.C., Minneapolis, Riverside, Calif., and Tucson, Ariz., had been eliminated from the selection process. The meet will determine the U.S. diving team for the Rio Games.

Indianapolis has hosted the trials five times since 1984. Atlanta has the natatorium on the Georgia Tech campus that was used for diving during the 1996 Olympics.

A committee of staff and board members from Indianapolis-based USA Diving will again visit both cities before the winning site is announced Dec. 10.
