Five swimmers have qualified for Britain's Olympic team on the first day of trials at the Aquatics Center set to host events in the London Games.
Hannah Miley led the women's 400-meter individual medley from the start to qualify and was joined by runner-up Aimee Willmott, whose father competed in the men's event at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics.
The 19-year-old Willmott failed to reach last year's world championships team after being disqualified from one set of trials and missing the second because they clashed with her exams.
Willmott says ''I've gone one better and made the Olympics.''
