To date, John Surtees is the only individual to have won the World Championship on two wheels and four. Surtees won the 500cc motorcycle world championship (what is now known as MotoGP) in 1956 and 1958-1960, and then the Formula One World Championship in 1964.

Additionally, he has won the Isle of Man Senior TT on four occasions, in 1956 and from 1958-1960, the same years he won the motorcycle world championship. In doing so, he also became the first rider to take three consecutive wins at the Isle of Man Senior TT.

In celebration of his 82nd birthday on Thursday, Goodwood Road & Racing has shared a video to YouTube of Surtees leading Kimi Raikkonen up its world famous hill climb – with both drivers behind the wheel of the Ferraris that took them to their respective championships in 1964 and 2007.
