At the age of 34, two-time Formula One champion Fernando Alonso is now one of the oldest drivers on the F1 grid.

Although retirement could still be a few years off for the Spaniard, that hasn’t stopped him from exploring other sports, such as MotoGP.

However, we’re beginning to think the McLaren driver wouldn’t do too bad on a soccer pitch either.

Playing alongside fellow F1 drivers - such as Felipe Massa, Max Verstappen, Sebastian Vettel, Kevin Magnussen, Daniel Ricciardo and Carlos Sainz - in a charity match earlier this week, Alonso scored a goal for their Nationale Piloti team against the All-Star XI team being coached by Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri.

The Nationale Piloti team, captained by Alonso, went on to win 3-1.
